1980 - Present Day

This section represents the last 30 years. It will be developed at a later time thus allowing me to focus first on the historical aspect of pop-up camper manufacturing. Let's hope that by the time I get around to completing this section that it too isn't ancient history! As with everything in today's world the last 30 years have become almost "to busy" even in the RV industry. Manufacturers are buying, selling, and merging with each other. New ones spring up, seasoned ones disapear and lots of good ideas with them. And history repeats itself. Even the new pop-up campers hitting the market place are a reflection of the same type of campers in the early 1980's when gas prices spiked up. It will be interesting to see how these sections, as I have divided them up, resemble each other when finalized.
